P&G Recalls Tide Pods.

Proctor and Gamble had to recall over 8 million detergent pods after defects were found with the tamper-evident packaging.

Amazon Reducing Plastics – Just Not Here.

Fast Company ran a story about Amazon’s serious efforts to reduce plastic usage in Europe and parts of Asia, but not so much in the US.

Plastics Overload for Produce Packaging

This New York Times article discussed the huge amount of plastic that is used in fresh produce packaging and looked at some ways to help with this problem.

Finally, keeping on the plastics topic, I noted that here in New Hampshire, there doesn’t seem to be the same desire to remove single use plastic bags as we were used to in Texas.
