Irish packaging machinery specialist Tekpak Automation has announced it will show its TD3/R Series robotic pick-and-place cell at interpack 2026, the world’s leading packaging trade fair, taking place in Düsseldorf from 7 to 13 May.
The TD3/R Series is a three-axis robotic system capable of loading or stacking products into trays, cases, cartons, thermoformers, or flow-wrapper infeeds, making it adaptable across food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. Tekpak will run a live demonstration, with the system packing pharmaceutical pens to highlight its precision and speed in a regulated environment.
The announcement is a timely one. Across the packaging sector, interest in pick-and-place robotics has accelerated in response to labor market pressures, with manufacturers seeking flexible automation capable of handling a range of product formats without lengthy changeovers. Tekpak, with more than 20 years of experience in the sector, positions the TD3/R as part of a broader turnkey capability that includes cartoning, case packing, and full-line integration.
