The need for variable data to be added to labels and packaging has been increasing, and the GS1 Sunrise 2027 barcode migration will only increase this.

46kUV Inkjet Printbar from Fujifilm

Fujifilm has launched a new inkjet printer that will help label and packaging converters stay on top of this trend.

The 46kUV Inkjet Printbar is designed to integrate with conventional printing presses and add a digital printing station – allowing the converter to continue to point fixed information with their current techniques while being able to add variable barcodes and other data without disturbing the process.

The printer uses UV cured inks and is available in print widths from 10 to 20 inches.

More information is available from Fujifilm.
