Packaging specialist Sidel has launched the EvoFILL PET, a filling solution for still beverages in PET bottles that the company says is the fastest filler it has developed. The machine is aimed at producers looking to increase output without expanding their floor space footprint.

The headline figure is an output of more than 90,000 bottles per hour, achieved through a completely redesigned filling valve developed after an in-depth fluid-dynamics study. Sidel says the new valve delivers filling speeds up to 20% faster than previous designs, while a no-base layout reduces the machine’s footprint by up to 15%.
Hygiene has been a clear priority in the design engineering. The valve operates on a no-contact filling principle and uses volumetric flowmeter control, removing the need for component changes when switching fill levels. Automatic clean-in-place (CIP) dummy cups, shorter cleaning cycles and fewer internal surfaces to clean are all designed to cut downtime and reduce water and chemical consumption.
The EvoFILL PET is available in standalone, Combi and Super Combi configurations, giving producers some flexibility in how they integrate it into existing or new lines. Improved access to the external caps buffer and roof HEPA filters is also flagged as an ergonomic improvement for operators and maintenance teams.
Sidel is positioning the machine squarely at the water and still beverages segment, a market it notes is being reshaped by functional and flavoured variants. That category is forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.7% between 2024 and 2028, driven by health trends and rising disposable incomes in key markets.
For producers planning line investments, the combination of higher throughput, a smaller footprint and lower cleaning overhead makes the EvoFILL PET a standout in the market.
