At the first Pack Expo Southeast in Atlanta, Herma, the pressure-sensitive labeling specialist, plans to showcase the HERMA 211R HC robotic labeling cell.

The labeling system is designed to accurately label products that need to be manually fed into and removed from the labeling area.
This makes the HERMA 211R HC ideal for short runs and for difficult-to-handle products such as small vials, pens, syringes and cartridges, that are often handled manually.
An integrated servo-driven robot takes care of product handling, eliminating a repetitive and boring job for the operators.
See the operation of the system in this video from HERMA:
As you can see, the robot arm takes a product from the tray and presents it to the labeling station.
After the label is applied, the product is removed from the labeler, can be presented to a vision inspection camera and then replaces it in the tray before starting the process again with the next product.
See the labeling cell in action at Pack Expo Southeast, booth 104 and you can also get more information at the HERMA site.
